The "Concrete Design" category manages basic assignments that affect the design of members, surfaces, and nodes of punching shear. Here you can check the objects to be designed, their materials, cross-sections, and thickness, and assign the design configurations to the objects.
For your work within tables, you can use the functions known from RFEM that allow you to Edit Table. The specific tables of the "Concrete Design" category are explained in the following chapters.

Design Configurations
Detailed settings for the individual design checks are defined in Design Configurations. For each limit state, there is a separate design configuration that manages the standard-specific regulations and where you can specify limit values or various design options, for example. Only the design configurations activated in the Global Settings are available. These configurations are described separately for the standards, such as Eurocode, in the chapters for EN 1992-1-1.
The design configurations are also organized as types. You can create different types for the individual design configurations and then assign the appropriate configurations, for example, to a member, in the "Design Configurations" tab.

Assigning Design Configuration
Similarly to the Types for Concrete Design, you can individually assign the configuration to the objects. There are various options for this:

For an object with no configuration assigned to a particular limit state, no design checks are carried out in this limit state. Thus, you can simply deactivate the serviceability limit state design for the individual members by not assigning the serviceability limit state configuration to these members.
