Consideration of Minimum Distance Between Two Cranes

In the event of converting or extending a hall, the building owner may want to add a second or third crane to an existing crane runway. Since the original design usually does not consider other cranes, a common solution is to design a minimum distance between the cranes. This is done via the crane technology settings.

When designing in CRANEWAY, you can use crane buffers. They can be applied to one or both sides of the crane.

For example, if two cranes are only allowed to move together over a distance of 3 m, you have to define a buffer of 1.50 m to the right of Crane 1 in Window 1.4. The buffer of Crane 2 is defined as 2 m to the left.
